What is happening?

Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council, Hydref / October 2023 Gorchmynion Diogelu Mannau Agored Cyhoeddus 2023
Hysbysir bod y Gorchmynion Diogelu Mannau Agored Cyhoeddus ‘Parthau Di-Alcohol’ yng nghanol trefi Aberystwyth, Aberteifi a Llanbedr Pont Steffan wedi cael eu hymestyn tan 19/10/2026. (Mae’r Gorchmynion gwreiddiol sydd wedi bod ar waith ers 2017 i fod i ddod i ben ar 19/10/2023). Gwneir Gorchmynion Diogelu Mannau Agored Cyhoeddus o dan Ddeddf Ymddygiad Gwrthgymdeithasol, Trosedd a Phlismona 2014, ac mae’n ei gwneud yn drosedd pe bai person yn methu â chydymffurfio â chais gan Swyddog yr Heddlu neu Swyddog awdurdodedig i beidio ag yfed, neu gwrthod ildio alcohol i’r Swyddog yn yr ardal ddynodedig. Bydd methu â chydymffurfio â cheisiadau o’r fath yn gyfystyr â thorri’r Gorchymynion a gall unigolion gael eu harestio a gall arwain at ddirwy o hyd at £500. Y nod yw lleihau troseddau sy’n ymwneud ag alcohol, a chadw Ceredigion yn lle diogel a braf i fyw, gweithio ac ymweld ag ef. Mae rhagor o wybodaeth a’r mapiau sy’n manylu ar yr ardaloedd sydd wedi’u cynnwys yn y Gorchmynion Diogelu Mannau Agored Cyhoeddus
