What is happening?
(C47N FROM C112N AT IRONGRAY ROAD TO C136N AT GLASGOW ROAD, C47N NUNWOOD ROAD (PART OF), C112N IRONGRAY ROAD, U667N LOCHSIDE COURT AND U668N LOCHSIDE INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, DUMFRIES) (40 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that The Council has made the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Details may be inspected online between 06/10/23 and 17/11/23 at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk/ or by arrangement (Tel – 01387 271100).
Any person wishing to challenge the validity of the Traffic Regulation Order on the grounds that it is not within the Statutory powers set out in the Act or relevant regulations, or that any requirement of the Act or relevant regulations has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Traffic Regulation Order was made, make an application to the Court of Session for that purpose, to the Head of Roads and Infrastructure, Communities Directorate, Dumfries and Galloway Council, Militia House, English Street, Dumfries DG1 2HR, to be received by 17/11/23.
(U740N GLEBE STREET) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2023
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the U740n Glebe Street, Dumfries, from its junction with Craigs Road to its junction with Wallace Street from 8am on 16/10/23 to 5pm on 03/11/23.
The closure is necessary to facilitate remedial works to existing Scottish Water and Scottish Power apparatus, in association with works at old St Michael’s School.
Alternative route available via the B725 St Michael Street, A756 Brooms Road, U740n Glebe Street and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
