NOTICE OF DISPOSAL OF OPEN SPACE
NORTH NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNCIL
LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 (AS AMENDED)
SECTION 123(2A)
PUBLIC OPEN SPACE AT WEEKLEY GLEBE PLAYING FIELDS,
KETTERING

Notice is hereby given that North Northamptonshire Council proposes to dispose of a parcel of land at Weekley Glebe Playing Fields adjacent to Kettering Buccleuch Academy School, Weekley Glebe Road, Kettering to the United Learning Academy to facilitate the development of a new 3G all-weather football pitch and associated sports field to meet demand from the school and the local community. Following the transfer, the all-weather football pitch will be available for public use when not in use by the school, and the remainder of Weekley Glebe Park will remain available for enjoyment as public open space.
The Plan showing the Site may be inspected during normal office hours at North Northamptonshire Council Bowling Green Road, Kettering, Northants NN15 7QX and is available via the weblink below: www.northnorthants.gov.uk/publicnotice003
Any objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing, stating the grounds of objection, to Executive Director of Customer and Governance North Northamptonshire Council, Bowling Green Road, Kettering, Northants NN15 7QX or email Estates@northnorthants.gov.uk no later than 5pm on ?? October 2023.
