(Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Tanhouse Lane which extends from Limekiln Road westwards for 140m. This order is required for the following reason: in connection with overhead cabling works. The order will be operative from 23 October 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of a 1 day duration, between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm. Alternative route: Bury Hill Road, Wickwar Road, Southfield Way, Peg Hill, Goose Green Way, North Road and vice versa

(Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Lysander Road which extends from Merlin Road south westwards for 50m. This order is required for the following reason: in connection with footway construction works. The order will be operative from 23 October 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians the roads and lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 to this notice. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon surface dressing and carriageway patching works. The order became operative from 4 October 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 8 days duration, at each location in respect of each road or length of road. (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of road specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice. This order is required for the following reason: in connection with bridge repair works. The order will be operative from 29 October 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. It is anticipated that the works relating to each location will be carried out on the dates specified in relation to each length of road in column 2 of the said Schedule.

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians that length of Vimpennys Lane which extends from Brook Farm Lane south eastwards for 30m. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon fire hydrant replacement works on or adjacent to the highway. The order became operative from 6 October 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 3 days duration.
