Rhoddir rybudd trwy hyn bod Corff Adnoddau Naturiol Cymru a enwir yn Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru yn ystyried Bodwigiad a Nant y Deri yn Safle o Dddiddordeb Gwyddonol Arbennig (SoDdGA).

Mae’r safle yn ne Parc Cenedlaethol Bannau Brycheiniog, yn agos i bentref Penderyn, yng ngogledd Awdurdod Unedol Rhondda Cynon Taf ac mae’n gorchuddio 81.99 hectar.

Canolir y safle ar SN952087, SN961081.

Mae’r safle o ddiddordeb arbennig am ei laswelltir corsiog, rhostir gwlyb yr iseldir a glaswelltir niwtral llawn rhywogaethau ac am ei phoblogaeth o effros blodau mawr Euphrasia rostkoviana.

O dan yr hysbysiad hwn mae’n ofynnol i bob perchennog a deiliaid hysbysu CNC am rai gweithrediadau a allai amharu ar ddiddordeb arbennig y safle. Gall methuâ gwneud hynny fod yn gyfystyr â throsedd.

Nid yw’r hysbysiad hwn yn rhoi unrhyw hawliau mynediad i SoDdGA Bodwigiad a Nant y Deri.

Gall unrhyw un sydd â diddordeb yn y tir wneud sylwadau ynghylch yr hysbysiad yn ysgrifenedig i CNC i’r cyfeiriad isod erbyn 14 Ionawr 2023.

NOTIFICATION OF A SITE OF SPECIAL
SCIENTIFIC INTEREST UNDER SECTION 28 (1)

Notice is hereby given that the Natural Resource Body for Wales otherwise known as Natural Resources Wales considers Bodwigiad a Nant y Deri to be a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).

The site is located in the south of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, close to the village of Penderyn, in the north of the Unitary Authority of Rhondda Cynon Taf and covers 81.99 hectares.

Centred on National Grid Reference SN952087, SN961081.

The site is of special interest for its species-rich neutral grassland, marshy grassland and lowland wet heath, and for its population of Rostkov’s eyebright Euphrasia rostkoviana.

Under this notification there is a requirement on all owners and occupiers to notify NRW of certain operations which may damage the special interest of the site. Failure to do so may constitute an offence.

This notification does not confer any rights of access to Bodwigiad a Nant y Deri SSSI

Any person with an interest in the land may make representations regarding the notification in writing to NRW at the address below by 14 January 2023.
