Public Notice

Hatfield Peverel Parish Council has submitted a Neighbourhood Plan proposal under Regulation 15(1) of the Town and Country Planning Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (As amended).

A period of public consultation under Regulation 16 will now take place.

The proposal

Hatfield Peverel Parish Council has prepared a review of the Neighbourhood Development Plan adopted in December 2019.

The plan proposes updates to planning policies and allocations to be used in the determination of planning applications in the parish.

If made, the Revised Plan will become part of the development plan for Braintree District.

Where the plan may be inspected

The plan and accompanying documents can be viewed and commented on at Braintree District Council's website at: www.braintree.gov.uk/policyconsultation.

How to make representations

Any person or organisation may comment on the Plan or supporting documents. Comments can be made online via www.braintree.gov.uk/policyconsultation or by completing a response form, which can be downloaded from Braintree District Council's website and sent by e-mail to neighbourhoodplans@braintree.gov.uk.

The consultation period runs from 15th September 2023 to 5pm on 3rd November 2023.

Representations received after this date may not be considered.

If you would like to be notified of the Council's decision under regulation 19 (Making a plan) to make the submitted neighbourhood development plan, please state this in your representation. Braintree District Council.
