What is happening?
28/09/2023 – New and updated tourism attraction; public exhibition consultation event for land at Tree Surfers, Hanging Cliff Wood, Gulworthy.
A public exhibition consultation event aimed at giving local residents and other interest groups information about a new envisaged ‘Tree top Explorer’ attraction (proposed by Zip World Ltd). It effectively comprises a circuit of zip wires set beneath tree canopies, using a suspended rail and masts rather than a zip wire. In addition to providing open space and additional parking, it will make provision for additional visitor interpretation of the mining heritage of the region.
On Thursday 28th September 2023, the planned operators will make use of the Tree Surfers Café at the Tamar Trails Centre, Woodlands, Gulworthy, Tavistock, Devon, PL19 8JE, where people can find out more about the proposed development and record their views.
The public exhibition takes place between 12.00 and 19.00.
