Notice of Application for Approval of Premises
I/ We Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust being the proprietor(s)/ trustee(s) of premises situated at and known as Wentworth Woodhouse, The Mansion, Wentworth, Rotherham, S62 7TQ. Hereby give notice that on 8th August 2023, I/ we applied to the Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council for Approval of those premises for the solemnisation of marriages in pursuance of Section 26(1) (bb) of the Marriage Act, 1994 (“ the Act”). The application, together with a plan of the premises which accompanied it, may be inspected at the Licensing Office, Riverside House, Main Street, Rotherham, S60 1AE on Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8.30 a.m. To 5.00 p.m. Any person may give notice in writing of an objection to the grant of approval of such application, with reasons of objection, within 21 days from the date of publication of the newspaper in which this notice appears. Such notice of objection can be emailed to licensing@rotherham.go.uk or the Licensing Manager, Riverside House, Main Street, Rotherham, S60 1AE.
