What is happening?

Bleasdale School

Notice is given in accordance with section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 that Lancashire County Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to Bleasdale School.
Bleasdale School is a co-educational special school for pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties, catering for pupils aged 2-19
The proposal is to close the residential provision at Bleasdale School.

Within 4 weeks from the date of publication of this proposal, any person may object to or make comments on the proposal by sending them to Business Intelligence, Lancashire County Council, PO Box 100, County Hall, Preston PR1 0LD. Representations must be received by 21 July 2023.
