What is happening?

Conservators of Therfield Heath and Green

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that

(1) A meeting of the COMMONERS OF THERFIELD HEATH will be held at Royston Town Hall on Thursday 23rd February 2023 at 7:00PM for the purpose of the election of one Conservator to represent the Commoners (by simple majority of votes cast). Voting rights of Commoners will be in proportion to the number of stints to which each Commoner present and voting is entitled.

(2) A meeting of the PERSONS RESIDENT in the SPECIAL DRAINAGE DISTRICT FOR ROYSTON who are registered as local government electors in the register of electors will be held at Royston Town Hall on Thursday 23rd February 2023 at 7:10PM for the purpose of the election of one Conservator to represent the residents of the Special Drainage District. Voting will be by simple majority of the eligible electors present and voting.

Nominations are invited for either position. Candidate nominations must be correctly submitted to - and confirmed as received by - the clerk by 5pm Friday 10th February 2023 Candidates should contact the clerk by email for eligibility details and nomination forms via clerk@therfieldheath.org.uk Details of candidates and information pertaining to the meetings and election process are on our website www.therfieldheath.org.uk.
