What is happening?
FALKIRK COUNCIL SITE REQUIREMENT
REPLACEMENT TOWN HALL PROJECT
Falkirk Council is looking to replace the Falkirk Town Hall, located on
West Bridge St, which is closing in February 2023. The building has
reached the end of its useful life and the Council is looking for a new
site within Falkirk Town Centre, to assist with the regeneration and
renewal of the High Street.
The Council is seeking to identify a suitable site for the Project and is requesting that owners bring forward sites or properties that they
would be prepared to sell to the Council. A minimum site area of
6000sqm is being sought, with a significant frontage.
Further details of the Project requirements can be found by using the
following link:-

Responses by interested parties are requested by 3rd February 2023 to ReplacementTownHallProject@falkirk.gov.uk
It should be noted that this “call for sites” is seeking to collate
possible sites or properties that will then be reported back to the
Council meeting in April 2023. Thereafter, the Council will choose the most suitable site and commence negotiations for purchase.
This is not a call for developers, or design teams, and the procurement/ acquisition mechanism for the Project will be dealt with separately, at a later date.
