What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003 APPLICATION FOR NEW PREMISES LICENCE 

Notice is hereby given that WOW Factor Entertainment Limited has applied in respect of Apps Court Farm, Hurst Road,Walton- on-Thames, KT12 2EG for the grant of a new premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following: This application makes provision for 5 medium and 5 large music events per calendar year. Music events are defined as consisting of a variety of bands and musical artists performing shows, on one or more stages, to an audience. Events will be categorised as: A.‘large events’ – events with a maximum capacity of 19,999. B. ‘medium events’ – events with a maximum capacity of 4,999. The capacity numbers agreed for each event are applicable to the whole site. 

The application seeks to permit the sale of alcohol (Sunday to Thursday 12:00 – 22:00, Friday & Saturday 12:00 – 22:30), plays (Sunday toThursday 12:00 – 22:30, Friday & Saturday 12:00 – 23:00), Films, indoor sporting events, boxing or wrestling, live music, recorded music, performance of dance and entertainment similar to live/recorded music or dance (all from Sunday to Wednesday 12:00 – 22:30, Thursday, Friday & Saturday 12:00 – 23:00). Late night refreshment to be permitted Sunday to Thursday 23:00-04:30 the following morning and Friday & Saturday 23:00 – 05:00 the following morning. 

Activities may be shown outdoors or within tented structures.Activities may be amplified or unamplified.Activities may be performed as stand-alone entertainment or as part of a wider programme of entertainment.The application may be viewed online at www.elmbridge.gov.uk/licensing or by appointment with Environmental Services, Elmbridge Borough Council, Civic Centre, High Street, Esher, Surrey KT10 9SD (Tel: 01372 474750) during normal office hours. Persons may make representations regar- ding the application to the Licensing Officer at the above address. Representations must be received on or before the end of 14th March 2023.Representations must be made in writing.

A representation form is available to download or complete on the Council website at www.elmbridge.gov.uk/licensing It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application. Persons will be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
