What is proposed?
NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A
PREMISES LICENCE
Notice is hereby given that an application for a Premises
Licence pursuant to the Licensing Act 2003 has been made
by Central England Co-operative Limited in respect of the
premises known as Insomnia located at Market Street,
Bakewell, DE45 1DS to Derbyshire Dales District Council.
The application is for the addition of permission for the sale
of alcohol for consumption on the premises between
07:00am and 23:00pm (in the coffee shop) every day. The
existing authorisation for the sale of alcohol for
consumption off the premises shall remain unaltered by this
application. Full details of the application are contained
within the application form held by the Licensing Authority
at Derbyshire Dales District Council, Licensing
Department, Town Hall, Bank Road, Matlock, Derbyshire,
DE4 3NN where the licensing register can be inspected
during the Authority’s normal opening hours or online by
visiting their website https://www.derbyshiredales.gov.uk/.
Any representations by a responsible authority or other
person regarding the above-mentioned application must be
made in writing to The Licensing Authority at the above
address or to licensing@derbyshiredales.gov.uk no later
than 1 February 2023, stating the grounds upon which the
representation is being made.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false
statement in connection with an application. The maximum
financial penalty on summary conviction is unlimited.
