TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC 150991776 : The City of Manchester (St Mary's Hall Road, Crumpsall Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on St Mary's Hall Road from Crumpsall Lane to Bennett Road. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Crumpsall Lane, Polygon Road, Bennett Road. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate. Gas Main Replacement Works. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 20th July 2026 to 3rd August 2026. The order shall come into operation on 20th July 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Dated: 7th July 2026.
ORDER NO. MCC 150976150 : The City of Manchester (Chancery Lane, Deansgate Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Chancery Lane between Spring Gardens and Brown Street. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Spring Gardens, King Street, Brown Street & Brown Street, Booth Stret, Fountain Street, Spring Gardens. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate repairs to the Hotel. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 24th June 2026 to 24th June 2026. The order shall come into operation on 24th June 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
