Goods Vehicle Operator’s Licence

Copart UK Ltd trading as Copart UK Ltd of Acrey Fields, Woburn Road, Stewartby, Bedford, MK43 9EJ is applying to change an existing licence as follows: To remove the following conditions or undertaking which reads Excluding ten HGV vehicle movements per day on Mondays to Fridays, there shall be no operation, movement, loading or unloading of vehicles authorised under this licence at the operating centre before 0700 hours and after 1900 hours Monday to Friday. The ten HGV vehicle movements allowed per day outside these times shall be for HGVs leaving the operating centre only, shall take place only between the hours of 05:00 – 07:00, and shall not take place on bank holidays. Excluding 15 Saturdays per year (defined as the first day of the year to the last, inclusive) there shall be no operation, movement, loading or unloading of vehicles authorised under this licence on weekends or public holidays. The hours of operation permitted on the 15 exceptional Saturdays are between 0900 hours and 1700 hours only. A log will be kept of the Saturdays that vehicles are operated on. The log will be kept for a period of two years and provided to DVSA or the Office of the Traffic Commissioner upon request. Vehicles authorised under this licence shall be fitted with non tonal (white noise) reversing warning alarms. and which applies at the operating centre at GREENHAM BUSINESS PARK, NEWBURY, RG19 6HW Owners or occupiers of land (including buildings) near the operating centre(s) who believe that their use or enjoyment of that land would be affected, should make written representations to the Traffic Commissioner at Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds, LS2 7UE, stating their reasons, within 21 days of this notice. Representors must at the same time send a copy of their representations to the applicant at the address given at the top of this notice.
