What is proposed?

WESTMORLAND AND FURNESS COUNCIL

(BROGDEN STREET, ULVERSTON)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable roof inspection works to be carried out (“the Works”), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of Brogden Street, Ulverston from its junction with Cross Street, extending in a southerly direction for approx. 55 metres.

There is no suitable alternative route available for vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 17th June 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months.

However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 1 day only and as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
