North East Derbyshire District Council trading as North East Derbyshire District Council, Council Offices, 2013 Mill Lane, Wingerworth, Chesterfield, S42 6NG is applying to change an existing licence as follows To keep 12 goods vehicles and 0 trailers at a temporary operating hub for a period of three to four years. Owners or occupiers of land (including buildings) near the operating centres who believe that their use or enjoyment of that land would be affected, should make written representations to the Traffic Commissioner at Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds, LS2 7UE stating their reasons, within 21 days of this notice. Addendum to advert
for contextual information
North East Derbyshire District Council’s current operating centre at Riverside Depot, Mansfield Road, Doe Lea, Derbyshire, S44 5NY in an another fleet vehicle operator (Bolsover DC) premise. However, from 1st November 2025 North East Derbyshire District Council will cease to operate vehicles from Riverside Depot operating centre so creating space for Bolsover Council’s needs. As a result of the notice period, the Council requires a temporary operating centre in order to allow time to develop its own premise within the District boundaries.
