NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE

PREMISES: The Canny Lad, 12-14 Green Terrace, Sunderland SR1 3PZ Notice is given that Sir John Fitzgerald Limited applied to Sunderland City Council on 22nd April 2025 to vary a Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003 as follows: - 1. To permit all licensed activities to start from 09:00 hours daily. 2. To permit additional seasonal variations as set out in the application. 3. To remove all conditions under Annex 2 and replace with the schedule of conditions submitted with the application. The licensing register of Sunderland City Council is kept at: Sunderland City Council, Licensing Section, City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland SR1 3AA. A record of the application may be inspected by appointment only during the hours Monday to Friday 8.30 – 5.00 at the Customer Services Centre, City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland SR1 3AA. To make an appointment email licensing@sunderland. gov.uk Representations regarding the application must be made in writing to the Council or by emailing licensing@sunderland.gov.uk no later than 21st May 2025. It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
