LAND AT ST GEORGES ROAD, MIDDLETON, LEEDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Leeds City Council is intending to dispose of land at St Georges Road, Middleton, Leeds to a local football club by way of a lease for a term of 25 years for the provision and operation of three football
pitches and a clubhouse in connection with a local football club’s sporting and community activities.

A plan showing the area of land which the Council is intending to dispose of can be obtained by writing to Asset Management and Regeneration, City Development, Leeds City Council, Merrion House, 110 Merrion Centre, Leeds, LS2 8BB or by email to AM&R.New.Work.Instruction@leeds.gov.uk quoting
reference PS-NL-1898 St Georges Road Middleton or by visiting www.leeds.gov.uk/open-space-notices.

In addition, a copy of the plan is available for inspection at Merrion House Reception (Merrion Way entrance), Merrion House, 110 Merrion Centre, Leeds, LS2 8BB between the hours of 9am and 5pm on Monday s, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and between 10am and 5pm on Tuesdays.

Objections to the proposed disposal must be made before 7 October 2026 and must be made in writing and addressed to Asset Management and Regeneration, City Development, Leeds City Council, Merrion House, 110 Merrion Centre, Leeds, LS2 8BB or by email to AM&R.New.Work.Instruction@leeds.gov.uk quoting reference PS-NL-1898 St Georges Road Middleton.

Please also note that the subject site will remain public open space and continue to be available for recreational use by the community and members of the wider public throughout the lease term, subject to the terms of the lease.
