What is happening?

MID ULSTER DISTRICT COUNCIL

COMMUNITY INVESTMENT PROGRAMME 2026-2029

Mid Ulster District Council will open applications for its newly redesigned Community Investment Programme on Monday 24th November 2025, transforming how Council community funding is delivered to the community and voluntary sector.

The new programme simplifies access to support by consolidating 17 separate grant schemes into five categories.

Funding will be available under:

  • Community Development Grants (up to £5,000)

  • Strategic Events Grants (up to £8,000)

  • Irish Language Activity Grants (up to £6,000)

  • Community Infrastructure Capital Investment (up to £50,000 for capital projects)

  • Bursaries (up to £500)

The Council will host a series of workshops from November 2025 through to January 2026, offering guidance on eligibility, outcomes, and application requirements:
