What is happening?
Refurbishment of the existing Male Toilet, Shower and Changing Area at EABC (East Antrim Boat Club),
88 Coastguard Rd, Larne, BT40 1AU
Applications are invited from competent registered contactors, experienced and organised, for undertaking a contract to a strict programme, who wish to be considered for inclusion on a select list of tenders. Tendering will be in accordance with NJCC Code of Procedure for Single Stage Selective Tendering 1994.
This works involves the construction of a single storey multi-purpose development, comprising Refurbishment of the existing Male Toilet, Shower and Changing Area – totalling 64sqm
Contractors wishing to tender must include with their application:-
1. 2 Similar projects undertaken in the last 5 years
2. A Definite source of guaranteed bond and public liability insurance to the value of £5 million.
3. Confirmation that the Company is not an unqualified concern as described by section 41-43 of the Fair Employment Act 1989.
4. A copy of the Company’s Health, Safety and Welfare Policy.

The employer is not committed to invite tenders from any applicant, to accept the lowest tender, or to give reasons why any application is excluded from the select list. Tenders are invited for the proposed works to be carried out under the terms of the JCT Minor Works Building
Contract (Private, with Quantities). The Contract will include provisions for nominated sub-contractors as required by the Employer.
