Lislea Community Centre - Expression of Interest / Invitation to Tender
What is happening?
Lislea Community Association (LCA) - Community Centre Refurbishment Works
LCA invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified building contractors for the delivery of
refurbishment works at Lislea Community Centre, 7 Mountain Road, Lislea, Newry, BT35 9UG.
The works are being funded under a capital scheme supported by the Newry Mourne Down
District Council and include:
Removal and replacement of the main hall stage
Lowering of stage height and expansion of stage-left area
Installation of Building Regulations - compliant access stairs to stage
Introduction of a new disabled toilet provision
Associated works, finishes and compliance with health and safety regulations.
This is a publicly funded capital project and will be managed in accordance with appropriate
procurement and funding guidelines.
Contractors wishing to express interest or request a Tender Pack should email:
by Friday 9th September.
All expressions of interest must include:
• Company name and contact details
• Relevant experience
• Confirmation of insurance and Health & Safety competence
• Company registration and tax clearance details (if applicable)
Closing date for full tender submissions will be advised upon issue of tender documents. LCA
reserves the right not to proceed with any tender and the lowest or any bid will not necessarily be
accepted.
