TENDER OPPORTUNITY

The Vantage Academy Trust is seeking tenders from suitable Principal Contractors for the construction of first floor extension, small hall extension, internal alterations, car park extension, multi - use games pitch and enclosure and all associated external works, at St Simon & St Jude CE Primary School, Bolton.

The proposed works are budgeted at £1.67m and are to be delivered using the JCT Intermediate Form of Building Contract with Contractors Design 2016. Tendering Contractors must be capable as acting as the Principal Contractor under the CDM Regulations 2015 and be able to manage and deliver all construction activity as a single entity. Organisations wishing to participate in tendering this opportunity should email Tim Marshall at T J Marshall Consultancy Ltd using the following email address tjm.surv@gmail.com requesting the Tender Pack.

All requests to participate must be received by 12 Noon on Wednesday 22nd February 2023

To enable the trust to evaluate the tenders received, the following information will be required to be provided on submission of a tender:

1. A completed Form of Tender indicating your price for the works.

2. Certificate of Insurance required under the contract demonstrating a minimum of £5m cover.

3. A completed Contractor Competency Questionnaire.

4. A method statement detailing how you intend to carry out the works.

Further and full details of the submission requirements will be included within the Tender Pack. Tendering organisations responses should be submitted by 12 Noon on Friday 24th March 2023. An award will be made to the most economically advantageous tender to an organisation demonstrating the competencies required and that fully complies with the Tender Pack requirements.
