Notice under Section 48 Planning Act 2008 and Regulation 4 of the Infrastructure Planning (Applications: Prescribed Forms and Procedure) Regulations 2009
Notice is hereby given that EET Fuels, the trading name of Essar Oil (UK) Limited (company number 15928581) (the “Applicant”), of The Administration Building, 5th floor, Stanlow Manufacturing Complex (SMC), Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, United Kingdom, CH65 4HB, proposes to apply to the Planning Inspectorate under section 37 of the Planning Act 2008 for a Development Consent Order (“DCO”) to construct, operate and maintain hydrogen-ready gas turbines, heat recovery steam generators and steam turbines, with a generating capacity of more than 50MW, and associated infrastructure (the ‘Proposed Development’) at the Stanlow Manufacturing Complex, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, CH65 4HB (“the Refinery”).
The Proposed Development is an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) development for the purpose of the Infrastructure Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017.
