TAKE NOTICE that We DEE’S AFRICAN CUISINE & LOUNGE LTD have applied to Kirklees Council under the Licensing Act 2003, for the grant of a premises licence in respect of premises known as: Dee’s African Cuisine and Lounge, 80 Blacker Road, Huddersfield, HD1 5HN for The Sale by Retail of Alcohol Sunday to Thursday 10am until 11pm Friday and Saturday 10am until 1am Live Music Friday and Saturday 10am until 1am Recorded Music Friday and Saturday 10am until 1am Late Night Refreshment Friday and Saturday 10am until 1am Hours Open To The Public Sunday to Thursday 10am until 11:30pm Friday and Saturday 10am until 1:30am
Interested parties and responsible authorities may make representations regarding the application where they believe that the proposed activities would undermine any of the four licensing objectives. Any representations must be submitted in writing to the Licensing Office, Flint Street Depot, Flint Street, Fartown, Huddersfield, HD1 6LG or by email at licensing@kirklees.gov.uk by 10/11/2026. Persons wishing to inspect the Licensing Register may do so at the above address during normal office hours or online at www. kirklees.gov.uk/licensing.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and on summary conviction would be liable to a fine not exceeding £5000.
