Winchester - Variation of Premises Licence

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR THE VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE

PREMISES Days Inn Sutton Scotney North, A34, Sutton Scotney, Winchester, Hampshire, SO21 3JY

Notice is given that First Motorway Services Ltd has applied to Winchester City Council to vary a Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003. The proposed variations are:-

1 To approve alterations to the layout following a re-brand and to include a lounge area, details of which are shown on the plan submitted with the application;

2 To vary the hours for the sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises from 07.00 until 00.00 daily, unrestricted for Hotel Residents and their bona fide guests;

3 To include the provision of late-night refreshment from 23.00 until 00.00 and unrestricted for Hotel Residents and their Good fide guests; and

4 Change the name of the premises to Super 8.

Any person who wishes to submit representations in connection with this application should send their representations in writing to: Licensing Manager, Winchester City Council, City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester SO23 9LJ, to arrives by 27 October 2026; details of representations received will be forwarded to the applicants to enable them to comment.

The representations received and the applicants’ comments will be taken into account in determining the application. Relevant representations will be forwarded to the applicant and may be published on the Council’s website.
