Merthyr Road - Application for a Premises Licence
What is proposed?
LICENSING ACT 2003
Application has been made by Marston’s PLC to the Licensing Authority of Cardiff Council to vary the Premises Licence for the Plough at Merthyr Road, Whitchurch, Cardiff. CF14 1DA. The application includes the following terms:-
1. Variation to change the internal and external layout of the premises as per the drawing deposited with the Licensing Authority.
2. To vary sale of alcohol so as to permit between the hours of 10:00 and 01:00 hours on Friday and Saturday.
3. To add licensable activities of Films, Recorded Music and Live Music internally and externally as per hours specified on the application.
4. To add licensable activity of Indoor Sporting Events internally as per hours specified on the application. Full details of the Application and the drawing can be viewed at the offices of the Licensing Authority at Cardiff Council, Room 203, City Hall, Cardiff, CF10 3ND.
A responsible authority or any other person can make written representations to the Licensing Authority at any time up to and including 30th October 2026 (www.cardiff.gov.uk)
It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with a Licence Application.
The maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
