Notice is hereby given that TBC Bars Limited has applied to Cheshire West and Chester Council for a variation of the premises licence for tbc*, 27 Watergate Street, Chester, CH1 2LB.

The application seeks to extend the supply of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises to 10:00-01:00 Monday to Thursday and 10:00-02:00 Friday to Sunday; add live music indoors to 01:00 Monday to Thursday and 02:00 Friday to Sunday; extend recorded music indoors to 01:30 Monday to Thursday and 02:30 Friday to Sunday; extend late night refreshment indoors to 01:30 Monday to Thursday and 02:30 Friday to Sunday; and extend opening hours to 01:30 Monday to Thursday and 02:30 Friday to Sunday.

The application also seeks to amend existing licence conditions relating to food and late night refreshment, seating and standing, method of alcohol service, alcohol hours, drinking-up and closing times, and to apply nonstandard timings on Halloween, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day and Valentine's Day.

A copy of the application is available for inspection at The Licensing Team, Cheshire West and Chester Council, The Portal, Wellington Road, Ellesmere Port, CH65 0BA, or online via Cheshire West and Chester Council's licensing pages.

Any person wishing to make representations in relation to this application must do so in writing to The Licensing Team, Cheshire West and Chester Council, The Portal, Wellington Road, Ellesmere Port, CH65 0BA no later than 27 October 2026.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application.

The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction is unlimited.
