What is proposed?

Notice of Application for a new Club Premises Certificate made under the Licensing Act 2003

Please take note that We Mitcham Bowling Club Has applied to Merton Council for a club premises certificate at: Mitcham Bowling Club, Madeira Road, Mitcham, CR4 4HD to provide the following relevant qualifying club activities:

Supply of Alcohol for consumption on and off the premises - Monday to Sunday 12:00 hrs to 22:30 hrs

Any person who wishes to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing to: Merton Licensing Authority, Regulatory Services Partnership (Serving Merton, Richmond and Wandsworth 
Councils) Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX or by email to: licensing@merton.gov.uk by 28th October 2026

The record of this application may be inspected Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays) by prior appointment at the offices of The Licensing Authority, Regulatory Services Partnership (Serving Merton, Richmond and Wandsworth Councils) Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX between the hours of 10.00am and 4.00pm. Information on all new and variation applications received by the Licensing Authority can be viewed on the Council’s website www.merton.gov.uk 

It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application, punishable upon conviction by an unlimited fine.
