What is proposed?

APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is given that ADMIRAL TAVERNS LIMITED has applied
to Shropshire Council to vary a Premises Licence in respect of
premises known as Boars Head, Willow Street, Oswestry,
Shropshire, SY11 1AF.
The proposed variation is for the following:
• Requested change of layout to include extension of licence
area to cover bottle bar and stage in external garden area.
• Increase of opening times and sale of alcohol to allow the
premises to open and serve alcohol from 09:00 daily.
• Removal of conditions in relation to requirement for door staff
to be replaced with:-
The need for door supervisors will be assessed by the premises
supervisor by way of risk assessment to be applicable when the
premises intend to continue provision of licensable activities
beyond 01:00 or when a special event is taking place.

and Consumer Protection, Homes and Communities, Shropshire
Council, Guildhall, Frankwell Quay, Shrewsbury, Shropshire,
SY3 8HQ on or before 28th October 2026. The Council’s
Licensing Register where a record of this application may be
inspected is kept at the above address. The register may also be
viewed online at:

www.shropshire.gov.uk.


It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement
in connection with this application, the maximum fine on
summary conviction is unlimited.
