LICENSING ACT 2003 ? NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE
Notice is hereby given that Michael James Davies applied to Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council on 21 September 2026 to vary premises licence number BH233781 in respect of 585 Tapas & Wine, 585 Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, BH1 4AN.
The variation applied for is to extend, from 09:00-23:00 to 09:00-00:00 (midnight), Monday to Sunday: the exhibition of films; the performance of live music; the playing of recorded music; the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises; and the hours the premises are open to the public. It also adds the provision of late night refreshment indoors from 23:00 to 00:00 (midnight), Monday to Sunday.
A record of the application may be inspected at the offices of the licensing authority, BCP Council, Civic Centre, Bourne Avenue, Bournemouth BH2 6DY, during normal office hours, or on the council's public register at www.bcpcouncil.gov.uk/business/licensing-act-2003.
Any person wishing to make representations about this application must give notice in writing, stating the grounds of the representation, to the Licensing Team, BCP Council, Civic Centre, Bourne Avenue, Bournemouth BH2 6DY, or by e-mail to licensing@bcpcouncil.gov.uk, no later than 19 October 2026.
It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application, and a person who does so is liable on summary conviction to a fine of any amount.
