NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO GRANT A NEW PREMISES LICENCE Notice is hereby given that Darlington Railway Athletic Club has applied in respect of Darlington Railway Athletic Club, 168 Brinkburn Road, Darlington, DL3 9LF for grant of a new Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to allow for the supply of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises: Monday-Thursday and Sunday, 10:00-23:00; Friday-Saturday, 10:00-00:00.

  • Films and indoor sporting events: daily, 08:00-23:00.
  • Live music, recorded music and performances of dance, indoors and outdoors: Monday-Thursday and Sunday, 10:00-23:00; Friday-Saturday, 10:00-00:00. Outdoor music and dance cease at 23:00.
  • Late night refreshment: Friday-Saturday, 23:00-00:00.
  • On New Year's Eve, the application also seeks extended hours until 01:00 on New Year's Day for consumption of alcohol on and off the premises, indoor music and late night refreshment, as set out in the application.

Representations to this application must be made in writing by 26-Oct-2026 to Darlington Borough Council Licensing Authority at Town hall, Darlington, DL1 5QT where the register of Licensing Applications can be inspected between 10:00 and 16:00 and/or at www.darlington.gov.uk.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application, the maximum penalty for which a person is liable on summary conviction is an unlimited fine.
