What is proposed?
We, Evergreen AB Propco Ltd applied to the Licensing Authority at West Devon Borough Council to vary the Premises Licence at The Ashbury Hotel & Resort, Higher Maddaford, Southcott, Okehampton, EX20 4NL.
The application is as follows: -
ADD the new Activity Barn (previously known as the badminton hall) to include the following licensable activities: -
(i) Late Night Refreshments Indoors Monday to Sunday 23:00-00:00.
(ii) Supply of alcohol On the premises Monday to Sunday 10:00-00:00.
No further changes are required to the four licensing objectives/conditions nor the current licensable hours.
Any person wishing to make representations to this application may do so in writing to The Licensing Department, West Devon Borough Council, Kilworthy Park, Drake Road, Tavistock, PL19 0BZ or by email: licensing@swdevon.gov.uk .
Representations must be received NO LATER than 28 October 2026.
A copy of the application can be viewed at the Licensing Authority’s address by appointment during normal office hours.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with this application, the maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
