Shades, 85 High Street - Change to a Premises Licence

LICENSING ACT 2003:
APPLICATION TO VARY PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that Greene King Retailing Limited
has applied in respect of Shades, 85 High Street, Crawley,
RH10 1BA for an application to vary the premises licence
under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following:
This is an application to change the layout and design of
the premises in accordance with the attached plan. This plan
is in addition to the current licensing plan for the premises
and includes the licensing of the external square outside the
premises in line with the proposed conditions.
To add a number of conditions restricting external live
music to only certain days between 1100 and 2100, a noise
management plan to be produced, noise checks taking place
in locations agreed with the authority, noise checks being
recorded and produced, and notice of any entertainment
within the square to be given to the licensing authority
7 days in advance unless otherwise agreed.

All other hours, activities and conditions authorised by the
premises licence to remain unchanged.
The last date for representations is 19 October 2026. Details

Town Hall, The Boulevard, Crawley, RH10 1UZ by prior
appointment during normal office hours. between 9am and
4pm Monday to Friday. A summary is available on the

Any person or body may make representation in writing on
or before the final date for representations, in writing to the
Licensing and Partnerships Manager, Crawley Borough
Council, Town Hall, The Boulevard, Crawley, RH10 1UZ
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false
statement in connection with this application. Persons will
be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
