Notice is hereby given that Baran Aydogan has applied to Guildford Borough Council for a Full Variation of a Premises Licence authorising the licensable activities detailed below: The applicant seeks an extension of the operating hours for late night refreshment, until 03:45hrs, on Fridays and Saturdays only. The proposed new closing time on those days would also be 03:45hrs. Additionally, the applicant seeks to reduce the operating hours for late night refreshment to 00:00hrs on Mondays only. The proposed new closing time on Mondays would also be 00:00hrs. The operating hours for the licensable activity, and opening hours, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays would remain unchanged by this application.
The proposed hours during which the licensable activity will take place are: Monday from 23:00 to 00:00; Tuesday from 23:00 to 02:00; Wednesday from 23:00 to 02:00; Thursday from 23:00 to 02:00; Friday from 23:00 to 03:45; Saturday from 23:00 to 03:45; Sunday from 23:00 to 01:00 - for the premises Zara Kebab situated at 15 Park Street, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 4XB.
A register of licensing applications can be inspected at the Licensing Unit, the Council Offices, Millmead House, Millmead, Guildford, Surrey, GU2 4BB between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm Monday to Friday or on our website at www.guildford.gov.uk/la03applications. Any person wishing to submit representations to this application must give notice in writing to the Council address shown above, or by e-mail to: regulatoryservices@guildford.gov.uk giving in detail the grounds of objection by 15/10/2026.
The Council will not entertain representations where the writer requests that his identity remains anonymous. Copies of all representations will be included in the papers presented to the Licensing Committee and will therefore pass into the public domain. Representations must relate to one or more of the four Licensing Objectives: the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm.
It is an offence, liable on conviction to a fine of up to level 5 on the standard scale (currently £5000) under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application.
