Church Road, Lisvane - Application For A Variation Of A Premises Licence

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that We, Greene King Brewing & Retailing Limited have applied to Cardiff Council on 16th September 2026 for a variation to a premises licence to use the premises at the: Black Griffin Inn, Church Road, Lisvane, Cardiff, CF14 0SJ.

The application to vary the licensing layout plan to incorporate refurbishment works including alterations to the bar servery (new bar flap), extension of existing mezzanine floor, accessibility improvements including a new accessible ramp, accessible WC and provision of a new ambulant accessible WC. Any part of the variation application that changes the plan/layout at the premises to be of no effect until the work has been completed.

Any person who wishes to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing of their representation by 14th October 2026 stating the grounds for making said representation to: Cardiff Council Licensing, Enterprise House, 127-129 Bute Street, Cardiff, CF10 5LE or via email at licensing@cardiff.gov.uk

The licensing register may be inspected at Cardiff Council Licensing, Enterprise House, 127-129 Bute Street, Cardiff, CF10 5LE between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm (Monday to Friday except public holidays).

The Licensing Authority must receive representations by the date given above. The Licensing Authority will have regard to any such representation in considering the application.

It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application for premises licence and the maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
