High Street - Application For Premises Licence

Notice of Application for a Variation of a Premises Licence Under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003.

Notice is hereby given that Mr Abu Talim has applied to Castle Point Borough Council for a variation of the premises licence for Benfleet Tandoori Restaurant, 7 High Street, Benfleet, Essex, SS7 1NA to 1) Increase the permitted hours for the sale of alcohol for consumption on the premises to be from 11.00 until 01.00 the following day all week. 2) Add the sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises to be from 11.00 until 01.00 the following day all week. 3) Increase the permitted hours for the performance of live and recorded music, the performance of dance and the provision of late-night refreshment to be until 01.00 the following day all week. 4) Remove all existing conditions under "The Prevention of Crime & Disorder", "Prevention of Public Nuisance and "Protection of Children From Harm" headings at Annex 2 of the premises licence and replace them with the proposed conditions listed at Section 16 of the application form. It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine on summary conviction for this offence is an unlimited fine.
