Variation of a Premises Licence

Notice is hereby given that ADMIRAL BARS (HERTS) LTD has applied to Watford Borough Council on 8th September 2026 to vary the premises licence in respect of Diamonds and Strings, 9 Market Street, Watford, WD18 0PA.

The proposed variation is to add 1 hour to the end times for Live Music, Recorded Music, Performance of Dance and Late Night Refreshment on Fridays, Saturdays, Bank Holidays and day immediately preceding a Bank Holiday to 05:00 and to add 1 hour to the end time of the Sale of Alcohol to 04:30 on the same days.

To modify condition 24(b) so that no customers shall be admitted later than 04:00 hours. No other changes to other days. All on such terms and conditions as may be agreed.

Any person wishing to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing to the Licensing Authority, Watford Borough Council, Town Hall, Watford WD17 3EX or by emailing Licensing@watford.gov.uk giving in detail the grounds of their objection on or before 6th October 2026.

The licensing authority must receive representations by the date given above. The licensing authority will have regard to any such representation when considering the application.

It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application for premises licence and the maximum fine on being convicted of such an offence is unlimited.
