What is proposed?

Notice of application for a Premises Licence under
Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Wainsgate Chapel has applied
for a premises licence to Calderdale Metropolitan Borough
Council in relation to Wainsgate Chapel, Wainsgate Lane,
Hebden Bridge, HX7 8SU to permit the provision of the
following licensable activities: Retail Sale of alcohol for
consumption on the premises Monday to Sunday 12:00hrs
to 22:30hrs. The licensing register and details of this
application may be inspected during normal office hours at
the below address or online at

www.calderdale.gov.uk.

Any
interested party or responsible authority may make
representations in writing to the Licensing Unit, Town Hall,
Halifax, HX1 1UJ or

licensing@calderdale.gov.uk.

Such
written representation must be received by 08/10/2026
clearly stating the grounds upon which the representation
is made in relation to the four objectives of the Licensing
Act 2003.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false
statement in connection with an application. The maximum
fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for
the offence is unlimited.
