APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE
Notice is hereby given that PLK Chicken UK Ltd
has applied to Portsmouth CC for a Premises
Licence for Popeyes, 190-192 Commercial Road,
Portsmouth PO1 1EX to provide for late night
refreshment on and off daily 11pm until 5am,
closing to the public daily at 2am.
A register of licensing applications can be
inspected at Licensing, Civic Offices, Guildhall Sq,
Portsmouth PO1 2AL by appointment with the
Licensing Team, or

licensing@portsmouthcc.gov.uk.
Any person
wishing to submit representations to this application
must give their name and address and notice in
writing to the licensing authority at the above
address giving in detail the grounds of objection by
6 October 2026. This will be deemed a public
document. Representations must relate to one of
the four Licensing Objectives: the prevention of
crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of
public nuisance and the protection of children from
harm.
It is an offence liable on conviction to an unlimited
fine under the Licensing Act 2003 to knowingly or
recklessly make a false statement in connection
with this application.
