What is proposed?
LICENSING ACT 2003
Application has been made by Prees Daily Ltd to the Licensing Authority
of Shropshire Council to vary the Premises Licence for the Prees Post Office
at Whitchurch Road, Shrewsbury, SY13 2DG. The application includes the
following terms:- 1. To amend the internal layout of the premises as per the
plan deposited with the Licensing Authority. 2. To bring forward the
commencement time for retail sale of alcohol to 05:00 hours Monday to
Sunday. 3. To extend the period for retail sale of alcohol on Sunday until
23:00 hours. Full details of the Application can be viewed at the offices of
the Licensing Authority at Shropshire Council, Shirehall, Abbey Forgate,
Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY2 6ND. A responsible authority or any other
person can make written representations to the Licensing Authority at any
time up to and including 5th October 2026 (
