What is proposed?
Notice is hereby given that 360 Beech Limited has applied to East Hampshire District Council for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of Premises to be known as Mad Swans in the South Downs, Frith End Road, Blacknest, Alton, GU34 4QL.
The proposed licensable activities and their hours are: 1. The sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises 24 hours per day 7 days per week for residents and between 07:00 and midnight on Sundays to Thursdays and between 07:00 and 02:00 the following day on Fridays and Saturdays for non-residents. 2. To permit indoor and outdoor Late Night Refreshment between 23:00 and midnight on Sundays to Thursdays and between 23:00 and 02:00 the following day on Fridays and Saturdays. 3. Indoor and outdoor Regulated entertainment (live music, recorded music and dance) between 18:00 and midnight on Sundays to Thursdays, and between 18:00 and 02:00 the following day on Fridays and Saturdays. And films between 10:00 and midnight on Sundays to Thursdays and between 10:00 and 02:00 the following day on Friday and Saturdays.4. All licensable activities on Bank Holiday Mondays, the Sunday preceding a Bank Holiday Monday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and special occasions are as per Saturdays. Additional hour at start of British Summer Time. 5. To permit opening hours of 24 hours each day.
Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by Licensing Office, EHDC, PO Box 310, Petersfield, GU32 9HN or by email to licensing@easthants.gov.uk no later than 7th October 2026 stating the grounds for representation. The register of East Hampshire District Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council, given above, during normal business hours or on the council’s website – www.easthants.gov.uk
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application.
A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
