Notice of application for a Premises Licence

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an application has been made to the licensing authority of Gosport Borough Council for a premises licence under section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Details of the application are as follows:

Down Range Axe Throwing, 18 North Cross Street,

Gosport, PO12 1BE

Brief description of proposed licensable activities at the premises:

Sale of alcohol on the premises Tuesday - Thursday 14:00 - 19:00, Friday 14:00 - 21:00, Saturday 12:00 - 21:00, Sunday 12:00 - 19:30

A copy of the statutory register may be inspected during normal office hours at the address shown below.

Any responsible authority or interested party wishing to make representations on this matter must submit those representations in writing to: The Licensing Officer, Gosport Borough Council, Town Hall, High Street, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 1EB by no later than 28 days from the date of this notice.

The closing date for representations is: 1st October 2026

ANY REPRESENTATIONS WILL BE NOTIFIED TO THE APPLICANT AND WILL BE CONSIDERED BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. Such an offence is liable to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale (£5,000).
