Notice is given that Mrs Shelley Usher has applied to Cumberland Council Licensing Authority for a Premises Licence or Club Premises Certificate under the Licensing Act 2003.
The Licensable activities are: Sale of alcohol from a retail shop for consumption off the premises during the operating hours; Monday - Saturday 08:00 - 18:00 Sunday and Bank Holidays 09:00 - 18:00
Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to: Licensing, Cumberland Council, Whitehaven Commercial Park, Moresby Parks, Whitehaven, Cumbria, CA28 8YD or licensing3@cumberland.gov.uk. Representations must be received no later than 2nd October 2026 (within 28 days of the date of this notice). The Application Record and Register may be viewed during normal office hours at the above address.
It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is up to level 5 on the standard scale (£5000).
