What is proposed?

Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Mitchells & Butlers Leisure Retail Limited in respect of Premises known as Coulby Farm, Stokesley Road, Hemlington, Middlesbrough, Cleveland, TS8 9DX applied to Middlesbrough Borough Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence. The proposed variation is: 1. To amend the start time for the opening hours and sale of alcohol (on and off the premises) to start from 09:00 hours Mondays to Sunday (currently 10:00 hours). There is no change to the terminal hour, and this remains as existing. 2. To amend a condition under Annex 2 of the premises licence relating to permitted hours for sale of alcohol to reflect the variation sought under point (1). Please see application for full details. Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by Licensing Office, Middlesbrough Council, Middlesbrough House, 50 Corporation Road, Middlesbrough, TS1 2RH or via email to licensing@middlesbrough.gov.uk no later than 29 September 2026 stating the grounds for representation. The register of Middlesbrough Borough Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council, given above, during normal business hours or if it is available on the council’s website at www.middlesbrough.gov.uk.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
