Notice of Application for the Grant of a Premises Licence Under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Travelodge Hotels Limited has applied to Watford Borough Council for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of premises to be known as Travelodge Watford, Riverwell Square, Shrodells Road, Watford, WD18 0HA.

The proposed licensable activities and their hours are the sale of alcohol Monday to Sunday 00:00 to 00:00 (24 hours) and the provision of late night refreshment Monday to Sunday 23:00 to 05:00 the following morning. (The sale of alcohol between the hours of 23:00 and 10:00 will be restricted to residents only).

Any person wishing to make representations in relation to this application may do so by writing to: Watford Licensing Authority, Town Hall, Watford WD17 3EX or by email to licensing@watford.gov.uk, no later than 24 September 2026 stating the grounds for the representation.

The register and the record of this application may be inspected at the Watford Borough Council offices at the address given above during normal business hours.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
