Notice is hereby given that Mr Chris Foran, Peel Waters Group UK Ltd, Venus Building, 1 Old Park Lane, Traffordcity, Manchester, M41 7HA has applied to the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009, Part 4, for a marine licence to undertake:
Seabed investigations and monitoring, installation of temporary closure plates, dredging of up to 4,200 m3 of sediment, diver inspections, and the temporary use of a jack-up barge to support demolition works adjacent to the Central Docks seawall. Copies of the application and associated information may be viewed online in the MMO Public Register at: www.gov.uk/check-marinelicence- register
Representations in respect of the application should ordinarily be made by: Visiting the MMO Public Register (www.gov.uk/ check-marine-licenceregister) and accessing the Public Representation section of case reference MLA/2026/00322.
However, we will also accept representations via the following formats:
- By email to marine.consents@ marinemanagement.org. uk;
Or alternatively
- By letter addressed to Marine Management Organisation, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7AR
In all cases, correspondence must:
- Be received within 28 days of the date of the first notice 05/09/2026;
- Quote the case reference; and Include an address to which correspondence relating to the representation or objection may be sent.
The Marine Management Organisation will pass to the applicant a copy of any objection or representation we receive.
