What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003

Application has been made by Kobit I Ltd to the Licensing Authority of Birmingham City Council for a variation of the Premises Licence for the Katie O'Brien's at Cheltenham House, 14-16 Temple Street, Birmingham, B2 5BG.

The application includes the following terms:

1. To extend the terminal hour for the retail sale of alcohol (both on and off the premises), live music, recorded music and late-night refreshment to 3 am daily.

2. To permit the premise to remain open to members of the public until 3:30 am daily.

3. To amend conditions of the Licence as detailed in the application.

4. To permit regulated entertainment in the form of film and the performance of dance between 9 am – 3 am daily.

A responsible authority or any other person can make written representations to the Licensing Authority at any time up to and including 22nd September 2026.

It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with a Licence Application. The maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
