What is proposed?

NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 34 OF THE LICENSING ACT 2003

Notice is hereby given that Akatan Limited has applied to vary the premises licence in relation to Shivshakthi News ,31 High Street, Romford, RM1 1JL as follows: To extend the hours during which alcohol supplies may be made from 08:00 to 23:00 from Monday to Saturday, and 10:00 to 21:00 on Sunday.

Full details of the application can be inspected at the address noted below during normal business hours. A representation by any person or responsible authority regarding this application may be made to Licensing Authority London Borough of Havering Town Hall Main Road Romford RM1 3BD www.havering.gov.uk. Such representation must be received in writing by 15th September 2026, clearly stating the grounds upon which the representation is made in relation to the four objectives of the Licensing Act 2003.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
