Notice Of Application For A Premises Licence

Notice is given that HSBC Plc has applied to LONDON BOROUGH OF TOWER HAMLETS for a Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003. Premises: HSBC, 40 Bank Street, London, E14 5NR. The proposed Licensable Activity is for The Sale of Alcohol for Consumption On The Premises from 10:00 until 23:00 Daily. There is no cash bar. The provision of Licensable Activities At The Premises Shall Be Ancillary To The Use Of The Premises As A Workspace And Licensable Activities Shall Be Restricted To Employees And Officers Of The Organisations In Occupation, or their Associated Companies; and Bona Fide Guests Of The Said Employees, Officers And Companies; And To Persons Attending Any Bona Fide Private Event At The Premises.

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must write to: Licensing Team, Environmental Health & Trading Standards, Tower Hamlets Town Hall, 160 Whitechapel Road, London, E1 1BJ, or by email: licensing@towerhamlets.gov.uk. Representations must be received by 18 September 2026. The register of Licensing Applications can be inspected by appointment at the above address or via: https://alcohol-entertainment.towerhamlets.gov.uk/Civica-eLR-3.2_Live/. It is an offence on summary conviction to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application, the maximum fine for which is unlimited.
